.. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .... .. .. .. ......Alejandro S..ilva Power Cuarteto (ASP4) is a chilean progressive metal instrumental band. It was formed in 1999 by Alejandro Silva (lead guitar&music) with Gonzalo Muga (drums), Cristóbal Arriagada (lead guitar) and Guido Fregonara (bass). It has released four independent cds: "I" (1999), "Dios Eol" (2002), "ASPC Live" (2003) and "Orden&Caos" (2007) featuring the new bass player Rodrigo García (with the band since 2005). They also have edited a live dvd named "En Concierto" (2004). All members of ASP4 are well known teachers and virtuosos of their respective instruments and all are endorsed by top instrument brands in the music industry. Together they have toured the country high and low consolidating the band as one the most solid metal acts in Chile. ASP4 has done opening acts for top metal bands like "Hammerfall", "Rata Blanca", "Edguy", "Sonata Artica" and "Angra" among others. They have been invited to play in the biggest metal and rock festivals in Chile, like "PUC MetalFest I and II", "Rockodromo 2007" and “Cumbre del Rock Chileno” to name a few. Alejandro Silva is a respected guitar player in Chile having shared the stage with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Robert Fripp, Paul Gilbert and Marty Friedmann among others. After a very successful tour in 2007 to promote the new cd, the band released a new live dvd recorded in december 2007 named "Live 2007", featuring the new formation and new songs. Early in 2009 Cristóbal Arriagada left the band and was replaced by chilean guitar virtuoso Claudio Cordero, a very well known soloist. The new formation began the year 2010 touring and working at the same time in new material for the next studio cd to be released in 2010. ........ .. .. .. ...... ..
